Our story
I'm a paper maker's daughter.
Ogni giornata comincia da una pagina.
I grew up with the smell of cellulose and the noise of machines: my father worked in a paper mill. Paper has always felt like home to me.
A blank sheet is never empty. It's a place where things can still happen. When the pen touches it you hear a small rustle, and in that moment a thought stops flying away: it stays there, in my crooked handwriting, with a crossing-out and a coffee stain. Screens forget. Paper remembers.
That's why I draw every cover by hand, sign it ALV and give it a phrase for whoever will open it each morning. I made these planners for people who still write with a pen, underline, cross out and try again. For those who believe, like me, that a good start is something you can choose.

I love travelling and I collect glasses, just like the character you see on the planners. Every ALV character wears a pair. That's where the logo comes from: round glasses with mustard and light-blue dots, above the ALV signature.
